INTERMEDIATE WHEEL
Are you intermediate? If you’re eagerly looking at this then the answer is probably yes.
Recommended for those who have taken 1 year of our Beginner Wheel Throwing class, or equivalent, within the last year at another studio. Equivalent experience will be accepted on a case-by-case basis and would require a minimum of 1-2 years of continuous practice and the ability to wedge, center, work with 2-3 lbs of clay, and be comfortable trimming and glazing their work.
Skills and techniques can vary depending on the group but may include:
Manipulating and sculpting wheel-thrown forms
Surface decoration and colored slips
Lidded containers
Two-piece forms
